Tourism

Tourism plays a strategic role in Pannon Group’s portfolio of activities. It is spearheaded within the Group by Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Kft, established in 1996. This company operates two service-oriented campsites and a hotel in Zamárdi and Siófok, some of the most important tourist destinations of Lake Balaton, along with another campsite in Zalakaros, where the main attraction to visitors is the local thermal water with a unique composition.

Balatonfűzfő-based Laguna Yacht Club is the other member of the tourism division. It furthers Pannon Group’s success by providing a unique development site and marina operation services.

Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Kft.

Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Kft operates accommodation establishments in outstanding locations with unique surroundings. Vacation houses, mobile homes, apartments, and hotel rooms take in over 500 people, and together with 450 caravan plots and nearly 700 tent pitches, they provide accommodation for 200,000 guest nights each year.

The campsites are right by the beach of Lake Balaton, and Hotel Platán is only two minutes’ walk away from the water. The Thermal Camping in Zalakaros is located in close proximity to the popular thermal spa. A guest-centred and service-oriented approach characterises all accommodation establishments, and they are each situated right in the heart of nature.

Accommodation

Aranypart Camping
Aranypart Camping, situated in Siófok, the tourism capital of the southern shore of Lake Balaton, provides comprehensive services to all visitors.
In terms of accommodation options, it offers caravan plots, tent pitches, heated mobile houses, as well as well-equipped and comfortable cottages. Guests can also make full use of the snack bars and restaurants located within Aranypart Camping.

Options to enjoy active relaxation include a heated experience pool, bicycle rental, a playground, sports facilities and frequent animation events. The public beach is situated right next to the campsite and stretches for several kilometres. Equipment for water sports can be hired there, and many other services are also available.

Aranypart Camping is a dog-friendly establishment.

Thermal Camping

Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Kft has operated Thermal Camping Zalakaros since 2022. It is located in Zalakaros, right next to the local thermal spa. The campsite has extra-large caravan plots of 100 square metres each, along with tent pitches, modern apartments and mobile houses.

The campsite boasts an excellent location and continuous improvements. It is characterised by a friendly atmosphere and a close connection to nature. Accordingly, a great deal of care is taken to keep the expansive, green grounds of the campsite, dotted with trees and small groves, clean and tidy. Naturally, this establishment is also pet-friendly.

Mirabella Camping

Mirabella Camping is located in Zamárdi, along the southern shore of Balaton, right by the water’s edge. This establishment provides 30% of all guest nights spent in Zamárdi. Guests can choose from a range of caravan plots, tent pitches, and Scandinavian-style mobile houses. Mirabella is dedicated to a service-oriented approach and endeavours to provide full comfort and a comprehensive range of services to all visitors.

Its main attractions include its private beach, a heated experience pool, daily animation and children’s programmes during the peak season, along with windsurfing and SUP instruction and rental options. Guests can also enjoy bicycle rental and a range of wellness services, such as massages.

The restaurants and snack bars situated on the campsite add the finishing touch to  the service offering through outstanding culinary experiences.
The campsite is dog-friendly and is also home to Zamárdi’s only dog-friendly beach.

Platán Hotel
Hotel Platán is also located in Zamárdi, right by Lake Balaton. Wonderful plane trees decorate its spacious grounds, there are sun loungers next to the outdoor pool, and plenty of leisure activities are available, guaranteeing the right atmosphere for a perfectly relaxing break. Each of the 16 air-conditioned rooms has its own balcony. Parking on the hotel premises is free for guests, and a sumptuous buffet breakfast is also available to start the day in the best possible way. Lastly, a spell in the sauna can complete the experience.

The hotel boasts an outstanding location and is the ideal venue for hosting smaller conferences, training courses, corporate events, formal and informal gatherings. Its sunlit event room and excellent services make it a very popular venue. It is also a firm favourite of families and groups of friends, primarily thanks to its fantastic grounds.

Laguna Yacht Club

Laguna Yacht Club has proudly provided its comprehensive set of services for many decades and established itself as an outstanding marina and angler’s paradise that has seen a number of substantial improvements over recent years.
The marina enjoys a central location as regards both the town and access to the water. It is located close to Budapest, on either shore of the lagoon in Fűzfő Bay, and is easily accessible. The area lying along the eastern shore of the lagoon is slightly narrower, while the part of the marina along the western shore is wider and reaches all the way to the railway tracks.
Laguna Yacht Club is operated as a marina. It currently provides docking for 181 yachts, and 200 fishing boats and electric boats, but its capacity can be extended to accommodate over 300 yachts.
Thanks to its location and other characteristics, Laguna Yacht Club offers the option to blend a variety of functions, whether occupying its entire area or separately, on each individual plot of the premises. The development area also has its own 1 km long beach section, and it is ideally suited for building a wide range of accommodation or catering establishments. As a result, this site is suitable for targeting several different customer segments. A combination of residential buildings, holiday accommodations, and the option for yachting makes this site especially promising for further development, which also aligns with the local authority’s plans.

Laguna Yacht Club has the potential to become the most modern and exclusive sailboat marina and development of luxury residences by Lake Balaton.
